An Invitation to the First New Moon Reset for Leaders
If I were personally inviting you to the very first New Moon Reset for Leaders, I’d probably say something like:
Come hang out with me. Come play. Come sit in my little circle.
This experience feels less like a formal workshop and more like welcoming you into my home. And in a way, I am. You’ll literally see my living room through the computer screen. It’s intimate. Cozy. Safe.
I want you to feel like you can show up exactly as you are.
Come in your pajamas.
Bring your dog or your cat.
Surround yourself with soft blankets or gentle lights if that makes you feel grounded.
It’s a space of deep breath. Of fluidity. Of a kind of soft-but-strong gooeyness (yes, that’s the word, it just fits). A space where you get to pause, reset, and simply be.
Think of it as an intentional two-hour container, the same exploration I do with my closest friends, but more structured and time-boxed. We’re not spilling into dinner plans and four-hour conversations. It’s focused, purposeful, and created to help you feel safe enough to reset something inside yourself.
And eventually, as this grows, there will be opportunities to join me in person as I host sessions around the country. But if staying home in your coziest clothes is your preferred vibe, you can keep attending virtually forever. Both options will meet you exactly where you are.
The Mindset to Bring
Curiosity.
That’s it.
You can come in excited.
You can come in overwhelmed.
You can even come in skeptical. I’m completely okay with that.
Just bring an openness to try things you may not have done before. Your brain will naturally resist anything new. That’s normal. You might feel walls go up, questions pop in, a little internal “wait… what is this?” And that’s fine.
Just stay curious.
Ask yourself why something feels unfamiliar.
Notice your resistance.
And then, because no one is watching you…try it anyway.
One more thing: honesty matters.
We begin with a check-in, naming how you’re actually feeling. When you’re truthful with yourself (whether you’re anxious, joyful, resistant, or tired) you give yourself a much greater chance of feeling different by the end.
We’ll use the feelings wheel to help name those emotions. Sometimes the shift starts simply by saying, “Oh… that is how I feel.”
Come as you are. Curious, honest, cozy, skeptical, hopeful. Any of it is welcome.
I’d love to have you in the circle for our very first New Moon Reset for Leaders.
